The lab is located on the second floor of the Central BSI Building (left panel, front side view). From the outside the lab can be recognized by the air conditions mounted above the window on the far left (right panel). Note the pipes running down beetwen the windows towards heat exchangers for the server room mounted on the ground (visible in the lower left corner).

Office space is available for researchers and scientific guests. All rooms are equipped with large white boards.

The lab space includes a library common to all researchers.

Theoretical work is much based on discussions between scientists. Therefore, the lab space includes a designated communication area close to the library.

The seminar room is just large enough for a meeting with all researchers (viewed from the projection screen). The room is used for regular meetings like the journal club, but also for joint work of several researchers.

The computer server room is a central facility of the lab, it fits two racks and a movable table for tools. The two panels show the recent cluster in the process of construction. The device at the center of the left panel is the high-speed interconnect, the device at the bottom a multi-processor computer.
